Tobias Anderson: (Far right; director, vocals, guitar, songwriting): Faithful Folk is an amazing dimension of my ministry as a pastor. I am daily faced with the ways in which sin affects my life and those I seek to serve. By God's grace Faithful Folk ministers in joy to our most needful places. I love watching how God touches others through this music ministry, and I love lifting my voice in praise of Christ!
Ginny (Virginia) Barthel: (Second from left; vocals, flute, percussion): Being a musician at heart, with no formal training or education in music, I have spent years singing in choral groups and informal small ensembles. Faithful Folk provides a place for me to enjoy this passion on so many different levels. Faithful Folk gives me the opportunity to create beautiful harmonies with a God given talent and the gift of three special people, to thank Him for all the gifts given to us.
David Anderson: (Second from right; vocals, electric bass, piano, penny whistle, pretty much any instrument you put in front of him): As a college student who is active in my college community, I love being part of Faithful Folk because it's a great way to help others through benefits and music. As a professional musician (including organ), I love the way Faithful Folk gives me a chance to rock out!
Mark Anderson: (Far left; vocals, guitar, banjo, trumpet, percussion): It is just possible that my advantage in years is my greatest gift to the group. I feel very privileged to be able to play, sing, tour, and record with these young people who are committed to proclaiming the gospel in song. If we were not all so involved in additional work, it would be great to do it all the time!
