Reviews
"Their repertoire includes gospel standards like Thomas Dorsey’s “Precious Lord”
and traditional spirituals like “Wade in the Water”, and original pieces blend
almost seamlessly. Accompanying him (are) his brother Dave on bass and piano,
Ginny Barthel on vocals and his father Mark on guitar. . . . this engaging ensemble
will intrigue and entertain you."
-Johanna Hall, Woodstock Times
"What a great, refreshing, and memorable sound..."
-Mike Kellog, Music Through the Night, Moody Broadcast Network, Chicago.
Quotes
"I just listened to your CD. Absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for
sending it! I thought it was inspired and inspirational. I love the ‘bluegrassy’
sound it has.

"Experiencing Faithful Folk live in concert brings new meaning to the phrase,
"feel the Spirit move" for me. The energy and spirit-filled atmosphere they
bring forth in concert is worthy of praise and thanksgiving to God!
I am grateful for the ministry they share."
-Diana Luscombe, Syracuse, New York

joyful tone in true folk music fashion. They are a calming and thought-provoking
experience."
-Anne Zilbwa, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
"We were blessed as Faithful Folk shared their gifts during a week when
we focused on domestic violence. The benefit concert offered by Faithful
Folk acted as a catalyst to get the community thinking about how we... could be
further educated on this topic and reach out to help the many, many people affected
by the tyranny of domestic violence."
-Michael Cooper-White, President, Lutheran Theological Semindary at Gettysburg.
"The spirit was contagious... The songs are filled with message
and spirit. Also, I liked the arrangements - they were constantly interesting
with the various instrument changes..."
-Barbara Pickhardt, Woodstock, New York.
